1 Nombre: Fecha: Teacher: Partes de la Oracion Parts of a Sentence La gramática tradicional distingue nueve partes de la oración: artículo, sustantivo, pronombre, verbo, adjetivo,adverbio, preposición, conjunción e interjección. Si sabe cada parte de la oración podrá usar las palabrascorrectamente cuando escribe y habla. Traditional grammar distinguishes nine parts of speech: article, noun, pronoun, verb, adjective, adverb, preposition, conjunction, and interjection. If you know every part of the sentence, you can use the words correctly when writing and speaking. 1) Artículo: Article: 2) Sustantivo: Noun: 3) Pronombre: Pronoun: Parte variable de la oración que se pone antes del sustantivo. Se clasifican en definidos e indefinidos Variable part of the sentence that is placed before the noun. They are classified as: definite and indefinite. Ej: El, La, Los, Las - Indefinidos: Un, Una, Unos, Unas Es la palabra que nombra o designa a las personas, animales, cosas o ideas. It is the word that names or designates people, animals, things or ideas. Ej: maestra, libro, perro Significa en lugar del nombre. Son palabras que señalan o sustituyen a otras que normalmente ya se han nombrado. It means instead of the name. These words indicate or replace others that have already been named. Ej: Personales: Yo, nosotros, Ellos 4) Verbo: Es una palabra que indica acción, estado de ánimo y acontecimientos de la naturaleza. Verb: It is a word that indicates action, mood and events of nature. Ej: caminar, amar, llover 5) Adjetivo: Adjective: Es la palabra que acompaña al sustantivo o nombre para determinarlo o calificarlo; expresa características o propiedades del sustantivo. It is the word that accompanies to the noun or name to identify or characterize it; expresses characteristics or properties of the noun. Ej: grande, rubia, rojo Pag. 1
2 6) Adverbio: Adverb: Palabra invariable que acompaña y modifica al verbo, también puede modificar al nombre, al adjetivo o a otro adverbio. Word invariably accompanies and modifies the verb can also modify the name, the adjective or another adverb. 7) Preposición: Preposition: Ej: muy, tristemente Es una palabra que relaciona los elementos de una oración. Las preposiciones pueden indicar origen, procedencia, destino, dirección, lugar, medio, punto de partida, motivo, etc. Is a word that relates the elements of a sentence.
